Army wives warned to buy food?

By Darren Weeks

I just got this in from a gentleman, whose identity I will protect. He echoes the same warnings I've been issuing in this space.
I received a call from a friend [name removed] who keeps up on goings on and has been on the cutting edge of info over the years. This is info out of Texas from an Army wife of things going on at an Army base there.

It seems that the wives of men in active duty were called in last week. They were concerned that it was some sort of bad news about their husbands, but instead they were being given instructions to go buy survival food. They were instructed on what to by [sic], and given vouchers for those purchases. They were also informed that there would also be generators available for when the power went out... At the end they were ordered not to discuss this with the general public.

I cannot verify the info but do respect the source. so apply as you see fit. If you can verify any of this I would appreciate that info.

Take it for what it's worth, people. I've made my opinions known on this issue many times in various venues.
