I've just discovered that my article, "Save the Planet, Kill Yourself?" has touched off a spirited debate among the Baptists in the United Kingdom.
It's fascinating reading other people's perceptions and misconceptions of what I've written. Plus, you can really tell who has done their own independent research, and who hasn't even bothered to read my original article prior to commenting on it.
What amazes me the most is the fact that some people have actually even confused me with being one of the very extremists that I castigate! It reminds me of the person who sent me the e-mail telling me that I should kill myself.
We need to have more of these types of debates among the religious folks. We need the religious people to have the truth shoved in their face. If it irritates them, too bad! Believe me, it irritates me too, but I have to deal with it. Why shouldn't they have to deal with it? Are religious people so high and mighty as to be immune from their God-given responsibilities in this world? Perhaps that is what is meant by the term, "...so heavenly minded, they are no earthly good."
It isn't fun watching ones country being destroyed by design, but acceptance of a problem is the necessary first step toward addressing it. Just like the hopeless alcoholic who refuses to acknowledge his egregious state, a Christian who reads the Bible, prays, attends Sunday school and worship services but doesn't burden himself with the task of defending individualism and freedom, is worthless. Their faith means nothing. They are worse than the most despicable hypocrite.
Whether they choose to deal with it now or later, the problem of world government and the radical agenda of the United Nations environmental programmes (as the Brits say it) will not be ignored. The controls are being rapidly put into place and many of these people are already are being confronted with the tightening noose, but they have no idea why or from whence their troubles come.
It is largely the failure of the religious people who claim moral superiority over the rest of the population that we are falling as a nation. Apathy, complacency, and plain old laziness on the part of the pew-sitting Christians has rendered our country a cesspool of socialist control, and moral slutiness.
Whether or not you people take an interest in government, I promise you that it is taking an interest in you. Whether or not you speak up in defense of moral values, the scum who control the media will take aim at every value you hold dear.
Ignoring the problems only make them worse. One need only to look around at everything that is being done today. The "head in the sand" approached has worked so well for us, hasn't it?
Wake up, you dead and worthless pew sitting Christians! Your very right to practice your faith is on the line, and your preachers are too whored out to their 501(c)3 tax-exempt IRS monetary gods to make you aware of the problems you face. You'd better ditch your deceiving leaders and get on your face before your Creator. Beg his forgiveness, and then ask Him for guidance in restoring our rights as individuals. Life, liberty, property. They're taking it all away. It doesn't have to be this way.
