Yesterday, Obama spoke at the Brookings Institute in Washington, D.C. Amid the usual B.S. about how we have had to spend our way out of the "recession" (as if the fiscal crisis is over and everyone is back to work), we get this little gem:
"These budget busting tax cuts and spending programs were approved by many of the same people who are now waxing political about fiscal responsibility while opposing our efforts to reduce deficits by getting health care costs under control. It's a sight to see."
My eyes widened, my heart palpitated, my skin tingled. Could it be that I actually had found something upon which to agree with this communist, socialist, Marxist, international banking establishment-sycophant?
Actually, no. At least not 100 percent. There is nothing wrong with tax cuts. Allowing Americans to keep more of what already belongs to them has historically proven to be GOOD for the economy.
But the point that Obama made with regard to the fact that the bailouts were initiated by the Bush regime illustrates perfectly what I've been saying for years: There is no difference between these parties! Unbelievable! Obama is actually right about something! The latest socialist assaults the absolute draining of this country's future via the Keynesian philosophy of spending ourselves into "prosperity" all began under the Bush administration. Barry "The Clown" Soetero (a.k.a. O'Bummer) is just continuing the abuses and taking the sport of bankrupting our country, abusing its citizenry, and making a mockery of our Constitution and the office of the presidency to new depths.
I guess even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
