Southern Michigan ice storm

An ice storm swept through mid-Michigan last night, and through this morning. NOAA weather radio reported that some parts of the area received substantial snowfall. We didn't get the snow, but instead received freezing rain.

The grass crunched under my feet as I took these.

Lighthouse in my front yard.

Usually, when these events occur, I have to get out and drive in it. Thankfully, today, I was able to stay home and feel empathy for the rest of the traveling world.
