I received a telephone call from Jerry, a listener who bailed me out last year when I couldn't afford to pay for the SL website. He offered to pay the bill again this year, as his donation to the work. Thanks, Jerry!
Also, Nancy Levant and I, along with Sam and Trish of the Information Corner broadcast did an over-the-air fundraiser, a few months ago, to support the work of the Anti-Communitarian League. The ACL consists of Niki Raapana and her daughter Nordica. They have done extensive research into exposing the "third-way" merging of communism and capitalism into a new system called "communitarianism".
Much of the research information, found on their website, should be taught on every university campus in the union. It is certainly brilliant enough that it could be. Of course, it won't be, as it runs contrary to the Establishment's socialism/capitalism dialectic.
Regardless, after receiving an inquiry from Jerry about their current status, and his expressed desire to be a blessing to them as well, I e-mailed Niki requesting an address to which the donations could be sent.
The following is her reply.
Dear Darren,Anyone who may be able and willing to assist Niki Raapana, will be assisting a true American patriot. She is presently enduring a cold Alaskan winter, living in her tent in the wilderness. The nice lady at the local store is making it possible for her to update her website and do radio interviews, so I hope to be able to have Niki on the broadcast soon maybe as early as next week.
The lady who owns the general store has been kind enough to allow me to give out her address and she also cashes my checks too.
Niki Raapana, C/O Sharon Forster, HC 60 Box 326, Copper Center, AK, USA 99573
Thank you Darren, for all your efforts to help me and to encorage me to keep working. You sure have a lovely audience.
Nancy has been saying you have more ideas for projects. I'd love to help if I can. And, with a lot of rearranging I can try to use my neighbor's phone for an interview.
...
Take good care,
Niki
